Dr. Rekha Orchard, Hons BSc, DVM

Dr. Rekha Orchard graduated as a veterinarian in 2003 and spent her first year as a mixed animal practitioner. She returned to WCVM as a clinical associate in the anesthesia department. This gave her advanced training in anesthesiology and pain control. The draw to work closer with people and their pets motivated her to open her own clinic in 2009.

Dr. Orchard's unending pursuit for knowledge led her to become one of the only veterinarians to practice Veterinary Chiropractic in Saskatchewan. She also remains a target veterinarian for the Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Saskatchewan and assists a number of rescue shelters in Saskatoon as well. Dr. Orchard lives with her husband and a houseful of dogs and cats, many cats.
